Super good food

Very tasty food. After the chairs in the neighborhood were almost folded up at 8:45 p.m. (although the kitchen was actually open until 9 p.m.), we went to the van Gogh with a small, hungry group at 9 p.m. and were well catered for! Extensive menu, everyone was very satisfied! Gladly again!

We were on 10.10. four people, staff very friendly, the white bread was forgotten for the starter (pumpkin soup and baked sheep's cheese), as main course we had 2 x grill plates and 2x Van Gogh Pfandl, the two grill plates were ok, but you will get the same in other restaurants , especially the price of 20.90 would be cheaper. In our two Van Gogh Pfandln the loins were bloody so that the blood ran into the sauce after the service staff had taken the 2 Pfandln, to roast we got the same back to the table now the cheese was quite brown, but our loin was still bloody, so again in the kitchen with it, now the loin was through but tough as leather and much too dark, the meat was still the same as when we first served it, we then negotiated 4 cappuccinos with the waitress, because neither a price reduction was offered or the boss, who was talking animatedly at another table, showed up. This is the third time we have been to Van Gogh's and we can say that only the first time was worth the money, with the last two meals there was always something missing or there was less on the plate and this time zero quality because the meat was too much Got better at home, as I said, it was only pork loin, so nothing difficult. It's a shame, we won't be back anytime soon and the couple that we didn't take with us either were embarrassing!

Nice location, super nice service and very tasty food, even for vegetarians / vegans there are very tasty dishes.

Cool staff from boss to waitress, bar ambience - especially nice on winter days when the stove is on, the food is good. For our larger group they had prepared a vegetarian vegan selection menu as requested. Thank you very much!

Despite Covid 19 equipment (mask required) and reservations, this restaurant is recommended. You can sit under chestnut trees and enjoy really good food! 👍

Beer garden between the house and garages, which dampens the mood. Food is good but the menu has nothing for children. A children's burger without fries for 10 € is too expensive.

The ambience just beautiful, both inside and outside. And the food was excellent every time. Always my pleasure.

Steinberg: We were in the new premises in Steinberg am See for the first time. We loved it! Great atmosphere, very lovingly and tastefully decorated. We were served very friendly and quickly. The food was first class, very high and good quality, lovingly presented. Clear recommendation!

Very good food sevice very good. Unfortunately on Christmas Day only a limited menu and no vegetarian dishes. On request we were able to put together a vegetarian dish.

Fast and nice service. My steak was perfect, Franks could have roasted for another minute.

Ambience is great. Staff is friendly. Food is served quickly. Food is only average in terms of taste. On our visit Lokal was full, lucky that we got two seats. Reservations recommended.

Top cuisine, mega delicious, friendly good service and value for money. A real insider tip - because who does not know it would drive safely past the rather simple older building. Inside but very comfortable and clean, great beer garden!
